REGIONAL MOUNTAIN TRAUMA SYSTEM

ADVANCING MOUNTAIN SAFETY THROUGH INJURY DATA AND COLLABORATION

Case reviews between trauma centers, ski patrol, and EMS.

OUR MISSION:

The Regional Mountain Trauma System (RMTS) connects ski patrol, trauma centers, and EMS to improve response and treatment on the slopes and in the mountains.

We help track injury data that leads to data-driven case reviews and collaborative training.

We help ski & bike resorts enhance safety and elevate trauma care standards.

Network Establishment

The RMTS team works to establish a network in your community between your own trauma center, ski resorts, and EMS personnel.

Monthly Case Reviews

Every month we collaborate with your region to promote de-identified case discussion. Education is provided to all personnel about the outcomes, injuries, and potential areas of improvement regarding their cases.
